Ditch THE TIE & throw a concert – For the people & by the people.
The Beloved Benefit Concert, featuring international and local musicians alike, aimed to unify Atlanta in support OF under-served COMMUNITIES facing gentrification in historiC Westside neighborhoods. The event took place at Mercedes Benz Stadium and was attended by supporters, residents and nonprofit leaders on the westside.
The inaugural Beloved Benefit took place in March 2019. it was attended by over 2,000 people and raised more than $5 million for nonprofits serving the Westside. No one wore a tie.

To pitch the concept and seal the deal, we developed a fully-branded virtual reality experience of the concert for the client team.
Our Stage, Our Time: Spotlight on Westsiders
To introduce greater atlanta to the vibrant culture of Westside atlanta, we pitched “Our stage, our time” – a storytelling promo series Spotlighting westside residents. an NPR StoryCorps series would interview Westside Atlanta’s artists, student leaders, activists, and legacy residents who participated in the Civil Rights movement. interviews would stream live on Facebook and a podcast would dive deeper into Westside’s heritage.
